I watched the 1940's version of Pride & Prejudice on TCM last night. It was so good! I want to rent the 2005 version, but I'm afraid I'll be disappointed.

I must say that Lady Catherine is hilarious. My favorite lines of hers are:
-I've never met a painter or an architect who did not congratulate me upon my taste.
-And, I, too, should have been a great proficient, if I'd ever learned [to play the piano].

I liked the movie, but Keira kept doing this thing with her mouth that annoyed me.
I would have been an excellent piano player if I ever learned
