we've been having internet problems the last few days. i've been on the phone w/ tech support so many times that i've memorized the number. the most frustrating part of the phone call is the new voice-activated system. this is how it usually goes:
AT&T: so that i can get you to the right place, please tell me why you are calling today.
ME: internet problems (mommy i'm hungry) shhhhh.
AT&T: i'm sorry. i'm having trouble understanding you. please tell me why you are calling today. you can say things like "tech support" or "billing question."
ME: tech support (i want some more some juice) i'm on the phone!
AT&T: i'm sorry. i'm having trouble understanding you. please tell me why you are calling today.
ME: TECH SUPPORT!!!! (more ketchup please)
AT&T: i'm sorry. i'm still having trouble understanding you. please hold for the next available agent.

that's hilarious!!
Fo Real...i have had that same thing happen...now i just say "take to operator" right away!...no way a mom invented that thing
That is very frustrating! It has happened to me.
Ugh, I have had this happen to me before. I hate the voice prompts. I also hate how they always make the automated operator sound so cheerful because I usually am NOT cheerful when I am calling.
