guess it's about time for a new post.
our holidays were great. we're now back into the swing of things. the kids are in school again, which means i have time to get the house back in order! hooray! i hung some curtains in the dining room (a.k.a. mike's sports room/office). the following picture doesn't do them justice - they are really deep red. mike said the room looks like a russian czar's palace. (haha) here are some pics from the last few weeks.

By "first and last gingerbread house", do you mean that it was too much hassle with the kids? I have done them in the past and they have proven to be a lot of trouble. This year I found gingerbread cookie kits by Crayola with all the supplies. It was much more simple and manageable with the kids. They are also cheaper.

Too funny with the comment on the gingerbread house! I've never attempted one.
Alex just got his first Webkinz at Christmas. He LOVES it, and actually I do too! He just got a second one. I love how they sleep in hats LOL!
darla - it's my last house b/c i'm TERRIBLE w/ the icing. it was a great big goopy mess. also, max opened the bag of candy & it spilled all over the floor. thx for the cookie kit idea. i'll check it out next yr.

stace - max loves the piggy banks. all 3 are almost full. he raided our change drawer.
carol - max's favorite toys are his "webbies." on the website, he has all 4 sleeping in one room w/ 4 beds.
