i'm saving money (over the long run) & using less energy! i heard compact fluorescent lights are the bulbs of the future. so i finally made the switch since they are phasing the other bulbs out. i bought the great value brand cause they're a tad cheaper than GE. the only thing i don't like is that it takes them a while to warm up....they start out dim & gradually brighten. but i'm totally looking forward to not changing a light bulb for 9 years*!

yeah, we have those. the are pretty bright tho. i haven't noticed them starting out dim. maybe i just haven't paid attention
